The Your Cycle global work experience program is a cohort-based skill-building opportunity for future career success. It will be a foundational setting for you to learn practical skills whilst being able to accelerate your careers development with early work experience as a high school student.

You will learn...
Research
Help the YourCycle founding team with research backed decision making. This will include drawing conclusions from multiple research papers on key areas of focus - learning how to understand academic writing and methodologies throughout.


Medicine
Delve into how medicine is applied into the startup world including how healthcare providers can create greater impact at scale through telehealth platforms such as YourCycle. You will look into similar providers in other countries such as the US and draw key learnings from how they operate.
Product Development
Using medical research, learn how to build a telehealth product through engaging with key stakeholders such as patients, healthcare providers and instituitions. Ultimately learn how to combine technical feasibilty, market demand and medical research into one key product.

Program Outline
Week 1
Orientation Week
Get introduced to the program, your mentors and Your Cycle. You will learn how a medical startup company like Your Cycle operates and begin preliminary research on the program project
Week 3
Development Week
You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project in the context of Your Cycle and working as a team is the focus.
Week 2
Competence Week
You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.
Week 4
Pitch Week
In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to Your Cycle representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.
