The Salesforce global work experience program is a cohort-based skill-building opportunity for future career success. It will be a foundational setting for you to learn practical skills whilst being able to accelerate your career development with early work experience as a high school student.

Create a global impact
You will partake in the software development of a new product offerring for Salesforce.
You will learn...
Product Management
You will learn how to merge business acumen, technical skills and customer desires to this new product to success at Salesforce. This will entail a hands-on customer discovery process, followed by strategic analysis and lastly implementation through executing your findings.


Product Design
After addressing the business case for the product, you will delve deeper into the product design. This will include learning how to partake in the User Experience (UX) discovery process and designing the User Interface (UI). Particularly you will learn how to mockup a UI on Figma which you will then develop.
Software Development
After addressing the market need and design, work on developing the key features towards the overall product. Basic coding will be required - students who haven't coded before are required to partake in the pre-requisite coding 101 course (see here).

Program Outline
Week 1
Orientation Week
Get introduced to the program, your mentors and Salesforce. You will learn how a Software as a Service (SaaS) company like Salesforce operates and begin preliminary research on the program project
Week 3
Development Week
You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project in the context of Salesforce and working as a team is the focus.
Week 2
Competence Week
You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.
Week 4
Pitch Week
In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to Salesforce representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.
