Product Management
Learn how to merge business acumen,
technical skills and customer desires to
this new product to success at AWS. This
will entail a hands-on customer discovery
process, followed by strategic analysis
and implementation through delivering
your findings.
Machine Learning / AI
As part of your Competence Week, you
will build AWS Cloud competency and
specific AI/ML foundational skills. This is
going to be achieved via the completion
of an AWS microcredential online, always
with supervision and engagement by the
company.
Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage and computing power, without direct active management by the user, common examples include Google Drive and iCloud. You will understand how these systems operate and become an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certified
Program Outline
Orientation Week
Week 1
Get introduced to the program, your mentors and AWS. You will learn how a tech business like AWS operates and begin preliminary research on the program project.
Week 3
Development Week
You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project in the context of AWS and working as a team is the focus.
Week 2
Competence Week
You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.
Pitch Week
Week 4
In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to AWS representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.
